Administrative Services

The Office of the Assistant Vice President for Administrative Services has been established to facilitate and assist academic and administrative units in accomplishing their mission by maximizing the performance of their business operations.

The participating units span from Panama City to Sarasota and include Athletics, College of Medicine, Panama City Campus, Ringling Museum of Art and the University Business Administrators Program.

Seminole Golf Course
The Don Veller Seminole Golf Course is a well-maintained, public, 18-hole golf facility owned and operated by Florida State University. The golf operation serves as a working laboratory for students enrolled in Professional Golf Management.

Budget & Analysis

The functions of the Office of Budget and Analysis are University Planning and Budgeting, Office of Institutional Research and Data Administration. These functions support the instruction, research and public service mission of the University.

The Enterprise Resource Planning project is an opportunity to not only integrate data systems, but to also redefine processes in the interest of gaining efficiencies, as well as promote professional growth for employees by introducing new skills and knowledge in the areas of data management and procedures.

Design and Construction
The Facilities Design and Construction Department is responsible for delivering new construction, renovation, and restoration projects on all of our campuses. We represent the interests of each user group to help them better support their mission at Florida State University.

The Facilities Grounds department is reponsible for grounds maintenance, landscaping and nursery operations, solid waste removal, and athletic fields maintenance.

Facilities Operations and Maintenance provides world class maintenance, repair and construction services to the Florida State University community.

Planning & Space Managment
Facilities Planning and Space Managment is responsible for planning and managing the design, construction, demolition, remodeling, and renovation of facilities and for campus master planning.
Property Acquisition

The Property Acquisition Section provides the support necessary to acquire real property to allow for the expansion of our main and branch campuses.
Utilities

Utilities and Engineering Services Section provides utility services to support the entire University Community. These services include steam, chilled water, electricity, domestic water, sanitary sewer and natural gas.

Environmental Health & Safety enthusiastically promotes compliance with the laws that govern environmental health and safety with the result of preventing personal injury, death, property loss and environmental pollution.

A collaboration between Florida A&M University, FLorida State University and the University of Florida to implement Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software that will integrate data systems with the promise of streamlining information flows and data entry processes.

Active Integrated Management (AIM) Project
The Active Integrated Management Project (AIM), an undertaking of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Department, was established to implement an Enterprise Resource Planning system at Florida State University (FSU).
