Auxiliary Service Board (ASB)

The Auxiliary Service Board is the oversight policy board for the operations of auxiliary activities at the Florida State University. The ASB has the responsibility for insuring that auxiliary operations reflect University policy and priorities, and, as such, reviews issues which affect these trust funds and other activities covered by this policy. The ASB monitors cash balances, pricing policies and rates, fund balances, annually reviews administrative overhead assessments and distributions, and other relevant matters. The operation and finances of each operating unit are the responsibility of its dean or director and, ultimately, the appropriate vice president.


Bookstore Advisory Council (BAC)

The purpose of the Bookstore Advisory Council (UBAC) is to advise the Director of the Office of Business Services, foster communication and act as a liaison between the FSU Bookstore management and the University community. The BAC shall have advisory responsibility for matters of policy and direction concerning the FSU Bookstore.

 


Dining Advisory Council (DAC)

The purpose of the Dining Advisory Council (DAC) is to advise the Director of the Office of Business Services, foster communication and act as a liaison between Sodexo Food Services Management and the University community. The DAC shall have advisory responsibility for matters of policy and direction concerning Dining Services on Campus.

 


Tucker Center Advisory Council (TCAC)

The purpose of the Donald L. Tucker Center Advisory Council (TCAC) is to advise Florida State University on policies and procedures contributing to the general effectiveness of the Center including, but not limited to, general philosophy, types of events, service growth, event planning, and quality of service, and to act as a liaison between the larger community and the University.

 


University Budget Advisory Committee (UBAC)

The University Budget Advisory Committee (UBAC) is appointed by the President of the University to advise and consult with the President on budgetary matters pertaining to the implementation of the institution's mission and priorities. It serves as the official group within the University having knowledge and information about University- wide budget planning, allocation, and management. It also discusses and establishes budgetary policies and procedures for fulfilling the university's priorities, advises and consults with the President on the annual budget allocations for the major divisions of the University presided over by the vice presidents and reviews expenditures in relation to allocations for the divisions, and advises and consults on budgetary amendments and reserve allocations affecting major divisions.
